Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Linglow, a language learning app provided by Linglow ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Linglow helps you learn languages through reading, listening, and practice. We use artificial intelligence to generate translations, pronunciation guides, grammar analysis, and audio. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Linglow.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Some features require a paid subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the app or its content;
  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its security.

5. Intellectual Property

The app, its content, and its branding are owned by Linglow or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for your own language learning.

6. AI-Generated Content

Translations, pronunciations, and other AI-generated material may contain errors and are provided for learning purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional translation or advice.

7. Termination

You may stop using Linglow at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. You can delete your account and data from within the app.

8. Disclaimers

Linglow is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that learning outcomes will be achieved.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linglow will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
